Crop & Livestock Evaluation Criteria

The Crop and Livestock Evaluation Criteria address management and cultural practices specific to various crop types and livestock species/production systems. Every Food Alliance Certified farm and ranch meets our Whole Farm/Ranch evaluation criteria as well as a set of evaluation criteria for each crop or animal product that is certified.

The sample evaluation criteria linked below are regionally specific. Requirements for your particular region may vary depending on environmental conditions or pest and disease management pressures.

Certification is available for the following livestock and crops. Additional certification standards can be developed on request. Please contact Food Alliance if the crop or livestock product you want to certify is not represented here.
