Crop & Livestock Specific Criteria

The "Crop Specific"  evaluation criteria address management and cultural practices specific to various crop and livestock types. Every Food Alliance Certified farm and ranch meets our Whole Farm/Ranch evaluation criteria as well as a set of evaluation criteria for each crop or animal product that is certified.

The sample evaluation criteria linked below are regionally specific. Requirements for your particular region may vary depending on environmental conditions or pest and disease management pressures.

Certification is available for the following crops. Additional certification standards can be developed on request. Please contact Food Alliance if the crop you want to certify is not represented here.
